The Department of Fashion and Design have been specially invited to this year’s Rythmz on the Runway, by the Fashion Maestro himself, Kofi Okyere Darko, popularly known as KOD. Students had to undergo a fashion illustratration Competition in order to qualify and win themselves tickets to the event, which is slated for the 4th if December, 2021. And this was done with the help of the Head of Marketing team, Miss Onyekachi,Madam Henrietta from the collaborations Department, Mr Bethel and Miss Beatrice from the Fashion Department.
The participants of the competition, had to illustrate designs using this year’s Rythmz On The Runway theme, “Masquerade”. there were a wide variety of designs that blew the minds of the panel who had the opportunity to select deserving designs and award them the tickets.
Selected students are very excited and cannot wait to be a part of this fashion event,happening live this Saturday,4th December 2021. Because this is one of the biggest fashion show which happens annually, and is rich with a vars range display of the diverse arts and culture blended with fashion both in Africa and the diaspora. A night lit with glitz and glamour,attended hugely by artists, well celebrated designers from across the globe and a wide range of performances.
