The Department of Mass Communication and Journalism has in its latest of innovations rolled-out a newsletter solely dedicated to the publication of the works of students pursuing photojournalism in the department.
The newsletter will highlight key events and places on and off campus through images. Students in semester III at the department will produce twelve editions of the newsletter on weekly basis and this will form part of their semester-wise assessment.

Speaking on the initiative taken by the department, the Head of Department of Mass communication and Journalism, Philip Acquaye said that the newsletter will serve as a platform to hone the skills of students in the art of photojournalism and also build their interest in that niche of reporting. ”This whole initiative will go to build the capacity of students to start something on their own even before they finish their training in this prestigious university”, he stated.

The newsletter is expected to be printed for distribution to students in the subsequent editions.
