The first year’s of BlueCrest College,School of Fashion and Design had some really amazing science lessons in their Fabric Science classes. They stated that science had always felt like a “boring” course to study, but after setting their feet in bluecrest, their minds are totally changed now.
This what they had to say, “Fabric science has enabled us to better understand the qualities of fabrics, allowing us to select the optimum washing and dry cleaning methods. Fabrics that are properly cared for look better and last longer. Also we can now distinguish between different types of fabrics based on their intended use. We now know where they originated from, sources and their method of construction.”
” We understand fabric science is a complicated course, but you took your time to walk us through it and make sure we understood what we were learning. The burning test practical was a lot of fun.
