With delight, BlueCrest University College Ghana will be the first institution in Ghana to partake in this exceptional initiative.
Our students would be participating alongside other students from other notable universities around the world!
About Woolmark Performance Challenge
The Woolmark Performance Challenge is highly regarded for its influence in broadening the capabilities of the students by causing them to explore apparel innovations that respond to the greatest performance demands for the modern athlete whilst increasing fashion-forward wearability. Of course, these fabric technologies must have a reduced environmental impact and must be multi-activity friendly.
From over 400 entries worldwide, some being the University of Technology Sydney (Australia), Wuhan textile University (China), Atelier Chardon Savard (France& Germany), HSE Art and design school (Russia), University of Westminster (United Kingdom), Colorado State University (US)
As an institution, we aim to create innovative ideas at this year’s Woolmark Performance Challenge 2022 finalists and ultimately be the overall victors.
APPLYING AS A BLUECREST STUDENT
To enter the Woolmark Performance Challenge, you must be currently enrolled in tertiary-level education at a participating university. The challenge is open to all students at all levels of tertiary-level academia (from foundation/ undergraduate to post-doctorate level), for individual entry only. Interestingly this competition is open to both Fashion and Technology students
By registering, as a BlueCrest Student you have access to the Woolmark Performance Challenge participants’ hub. This digital hub has been designed to provide entrants with the background knowledge needed to think and design innovatively.
Registered students will also be invited to attend the Woolmark Performance Challenge webinar series, where you’ll get to hear from industry experts. These live sessions will also give you the chance to ask these experts questions.
The challenge also provides a unique learning experience for participants and awards the finalists and winners with opportunities for international travel, financial rewards, and potential for career development.
