The Department of Mass Communication and Journalism announces the recruitment of Ms. Priscilla Ampomah Afriyie as the new academic assistant of the department. She replaces Abigail Asamoah, who is heading to the newly created examination unit of the college.
Priscilla is a graduate of BlueCrest University College and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Design. The pretty and poised Priscilla joins the department with great experience in administrative work. Her addition to the team will help bolster academic processes in the department, facilitate the smooth running of the academic calendar, offer support to students and provide administrative support to all faculty members.
The affable and goal-oriented Priscilla hopes to contribute immensely towards the achievement of the department goals. ‘Joining this department offers me the opportunity to learn from experienced faculty members and I believe I will in turn offer the necessary support they will need in delivering their mandate. Already, all the team members I have met so far are great, friendly and ready to assist when approached’, she said.
Priscilla’s favorite food is jollof rice and she loves to read for her relaxation. She hopes to be lecturing in fashion design in the near future and run her own clothing line she calls PRIDI WEAR.
