On the 29th of May 2021, students of the BlueCrest School of Fashion and Design were engaged in an interview at H.S Television (Francophone Platform) inside the Ghana Broadcasting Cooperation (GBC). The program started at 6 pm and ended at 8 pm, which lasted for two hours. Garments displayed by students ranged from contour collections to casual ones. There were ten Designers and Ten garments.
Below were questions asked by the host:
1- Please can you introduce yourself and your enterprise or institution?
2-Why did you decide to venture into fashion and design?
3-looking at very beautiful clothes, can you explain to us one by one -which material you used?-Who can wear them and on what occasion?-How much the price?
4- what will be your last words to our lovely viewers?
SFD students showed maturity in answering these questions and as well raised the flag of Bluecrest high. Each student was given the opportunity to also advertise their own brands to viewers. It was clear that the SFD students were really prepared to meet the needs of the fashion industry after completion of school.
The faculties of SFD are pleased to have impacted such knowledge into their students. We were surprised to receive calls right on set to enquire about our programs in SFD. The Department hopes to increase the student population and get referrals through this program. Ayekoo to all SFD students.
